Oklahoma City

Oklahoma City traces the roots of the worst act of domestic terrorism in American history — the bombing of the Murrah Building in Oklahoma City in April 1995. The film explores for the first time how a series of deadly encounters between American citizens and federal law enforcement during the 80’s and 90’s— including the standoffs at Ruby Ridge and Waco -- led directly to the Oklahoma City bombing. With a virulent strain of anti-government anger still with us, the film is both a cautionary tale and an extremely timely warning. Premiered at Sundance Film Festival, in limited theaters, and aired on American Experience on Tuesday, February 7 at 9PM EST on PBS.
